GCC participated in Life Choices 'Life Walk'

On Saturday, April 24th some members of Great Commission Church participated in Life Choices of Memphis 'Life Walk' at the Memphis Zoo. This fun family morning allowed us the opportunity to support and encourage one of our favorite Ministries with their ever-important mission. Life Choices of Memphis exists to care for the women of Memphis as they navigate being pregnant particularly when that pregnancy is unplanned. Life Choices is there to help women navigate important decisions as they learn about the God-ordained life in their womb. As women come into their facility Life Choices offers many services to include ultrasounds, counseling, adoption plans, & much more. Additionally, every person has the Gospel presented to them in a clear manner which proclaims the good news that Jesus Christ rescues sinners through His perfect life, substitutionary death, & victorious resurrection. During the walk, GCC members joined with hundreds of other individuals to walk through the zoo and proclaim Life in the womb matters & there is hope and help even in the most difficult of circumstances. Through this event, our families got to enjoy the amazing and award-winning Memphis Zoo along with helping to raise over $ 180,000 for Life Choices important work in Memphis to stand for Jesus and for the lives of the unborn.
