We get it. Life feels like it’s going a million miles an hour, and you're just trying to keep up. You're balancing work, shuttling the kids to soccer practice, and trying to keep your home from turning into a pile of laundry. In the midst of all that, it's easy to feel overwhelmed, to feel like you're losing yourself, and to wonder if there’s a deeper purpose to the everyday chaos.
You want a faith that works, not just a list of rules. You want to know that your faith isn't just a Sunday morning routine but something that helps you find meaning, purpose, and joy right here in the middle of your busy week.
We’re all in this together, and you don’t have to do it alone. That's why we're so excited to invite you to our new sermon series, “Making Faith Credible,” starting in October. For five weeks, we'll walk through the book of James, exploring what a real, lived-out faith looks like. This isn’t about adding more to your to-do list; it’s about finding a "turn-key" faith that fits into your life.
(James 2:1-4) It’s so easy to play favorites, whether it's at work, with friends, or even in our own families. But what does God have to say about that? We'll discover how a genuine faith sees everyone equally, no matter who they are or what they've got.
(James 2:5-9) We’ll continue our conversation about favoritism, and we’ll look at how this kind of thinking can actually weaken our faith. This week is all about finding a deeper connection with God and others that goes beyond surface-level judgments and appearances.
(James 2:10-13) Life is complicated, and we all mess up. This week, we'll talk about the dangerous idea of "just one sin" and how God's mercy is a gift that calls us to a life of integrity. It's an honest conversation about our struggles and the grace that meets us in the middle of them.
(James 2:14-19) Have you ever felt like your faith was missing something? This week, we’ll tackle a big question: is belief enough? We'll learn how to move from passive belief to an active faith that puts love into action and makes a real difference in the world around us.
(James 2:20-26) It's time to put our faith into practice! This final message will be a pep talk and a challenge. We'll explore how to live a faith that isn't just a set of ideas but a powerful force that shapes our identity and helps us find our purpose.
We can’t wait to see you there. Come as you are, bring your family, and let's find a faith that truly works.
