 Promotion Sunday is August 9! 
August 9 is an exciting day in GCKids as we celebrate Promotion Sunday!
Children will move into the class for the grade they're entering this school year, making it a special milestone as they continue growing in their faith. Some of our biggest transitions include:
  • Our 4-year-olds moving into our PreK & Kindergarten class.
  • Our new 1st graders joining our Elementary Ministry, where 1st–6th graders worship, learn, and grow together each Sunday.
  • Our 6th graders taking the next step as they move from GCKids into GCStudents! We're so proud of them and can't wait to see how God continues to work in their lives.
Promotion Sunday also marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as we launch our new Sunday curriculum, HYFI. After more than a decade of using The Gospel Project, we're excited to introduce a curriculum that combines trustworthy, Bible-centered teaching with engaging, high-energy experiences that help kids build relationships, participate in God's Word, and discover who they are because of who God is.
Whether your child is moving into a new classroom, joining Elementary for the first time, transitioning to GCStudents, or returning to a familiar class, our team is ready to welcome them with excitement and encouragement. We can't wait to celebrate this special milestone with your family and kick off an incredible new season in GCKids!
