As part of our Summer to the Max experience, GCKids is excited to participate in The Big Give—a special service project designed to help kids discover the joy of generosity and serving others. 
We will be collecting items in June and July to bless senior adults through The Destiny Center and women in need through The Warrior Center. We encourage parents to make this a family discipleship opportunity by involving your child in the giving process. Have them use chore money, help choose an item while shopping, or find a new, unused item at home to donate. Donations can be brought to GCKids each Sunday and placed in the designated collection area in the kids lobby. Together, we're helping kids discover the joy of serving others through generosity!
Here's a list of items we're collecting:
  • Fuzzy or fluffy socks
  • Hand lotion
  • Lip balm or chapstick
  • Puzzle books
  • Mini tissue packs
  • Small note pads
  • Grippy pens
  • Playing cards
  • Magnifying glass
  • Jar opener grippers
  • Small lap blankets
  • Hard candy (sugar-free if available)
  • Shampoo, conditioner, body wash
  • Lotion and body spray
  • Toothpaste and toothbrush
  • Hair ties, clips, or hair brushes
  • Pens, markers, coloring pencils
  • Adult coloring books
  • Spiral index cards
  • Full-size toiletries (Dollar Tree or Dollar General is fine)
