Fueling the Engine: Introducing Our New Series, "More & Better Disciples"

Have you ever wondered what it takes for a church—or an individual believer—to truly flourish spiritually?

It’s easy to measure success by crowded rooms, busy calendars, or big events. But when Jesus gave us His final instructions in the Great Commission, He didn't tell us to build big events; He called us to make disciples. Not just passive churchgoers, but more and better disciples.

Starting Sunday, October 18, we are launching a transformational 6-week series titled "More & Better Disciples," where we’ll explore how lives, communities, and entire cities are transformed through the power of Jesus.

The Great Commission Engine

To help us visualize this journey, we’ll be using a powerful framework called the Great Commission Engine. Borrowed from dynamic international church movements around the globe, this illustration shows how different aspects of our faith journey work together like a continuous engine to propel spiritual growth and multiplication:

  1. Catalytic Weekend Experiences: Where gathering with expectancy creates space for God to move.
  2. Surrendered Living: Where saying "yes" to Jesus daily unlocks true spiritual freedom.
  3. Life-Changing Relationships: Where finding our people in authentic community keeps us grounded.
  4. Active Partnership: Where serving and giving allow God's grace to flow through us, rather than stopping with us.
  5. Word & Spirit: The continuous fuel of biblical truth and Holy Spirit empowerment that drives the entire movement.
When these elements operate together in harmony, the church isn't just surviving—it’s moving forward with clarity, passion, and purpose.
