This Week’s Announcements:

Since this is our first week back together in a while, there are several things to communicate tonight! Let's GO!

    1. Are you ready to make an eternal impact? Join us in Chiapas, Mexico, November 29–December 6 for the Kingdom Kids Backpack project and share the hope of Jesus this Christmas season! Cost is $1,500–$2,000, including lodging and meals. See Kyle Brigance by Sept. 15th if you're interested.
    2. Help us celebrate Micah Barker at her bridal shower on August 23rd at 2:30 pm as she & Kyle prepare for their wedding day!
    3. Ladies: Two important deadlines are coming up in thr next week - Gather Conference registration and the $50 deposit for the Women’s Retreat. Don’t miss these opportunities to connect and enjoy fellowship with the women of GCC.
    4. As a reminder, if your Group meets in a home, childcare for birth - 6th graders is available at GCC on Wednesdays from 6:15–8:15 PM. We hire a trusted Nanny Service to provide our childcare, so we kindly ask that you adhere to these drop off and pick up  times.  Thank you for helping us care well for our children and our childcare team!
    5. Are you ready to change your relationship with money? A new Financial Peace University class begins September 3! Join others who are learning to manage money with purpose, make lasting changes, and build a new financial legacy.
    6. LAST, and most important: This fall, we’re launching The Refuge Initiative—a church-wide effort that comes alongside our daughter church plant as they build momentum toward launching a second service. From September through December, each small group will be assigned a time to serve as “missionaries for the day,”  by stepping into the Refuge community at one of their 11 am services to worship, serve, encourage, and help this growing church reach more people with the gospel. More details are coming soon. Begin praying for the harvest!
