  It is an opportunity for anyone who would like to know more about Great Commission Church to

• Meet our Staff and Elders
• Hear the vision of Great Commission Church
• Learn the privileges and responsibilities of membership

If you attend, you do have to join - but if you want to join GCC, you have to have attended a Membership Event.

Membership in our congregation has both privileges and responsibilities. Because the Bible teaches that pastors are to "equip the saints to do the work of the ministry," we have organized our church so that every member is a minister.

We have four expectations in our membership covenant for each church member to fulfill.

• First, we expect our members to attend a worship service each Sunday when they are physically able.
• Second, we expect each member to join a small group and attend weekly, since we are a church of small groups.
• Third, we expect our members to support our church financially each month, honoring God with the first part of our income (tithes & offerings).
• Our final expectation is that each member will have a volunteer ministry in the church. It takes a small army of servants to make our church meetings happen each week.

These four expectations are really fundamental to an individual’s walk with the Lord. Combining these Christian practices with a daily devotional time of prayer and Bible reading will enhance any believer’s journey with Christ.
