GCC FAQ

1. What denomination are you?
We are an independent, non-denominational congregation.

2. Where do you meet? What time?
We gather together each Sunday at the Olive Branch High School. We have two service times: 9:30 am and 11:00 am.

3. Do you have children’s church?*
We have two identical kids worship times that run concurrent with our two adult worship services.  Our 6 year olds (who are in Kindergarten) through 5th graders meet in the cafeteria for a dynamic large group time followed by an impacting small group time.

4. What about younger children?*
We have great nursery options available for our youngest friends during both services.  Our preschoolers who are age three through 5 enjoy a great large group time followed by crafts and games to reinforce the day's lesson.

* A REC room is provided for children between the ages of  3 and 5 that are at church both services and have attended or will be attending their age appropriate worship/class time in the other service. Nursery and Toddler aged children will remain in their regular class for the second service.

5. How long do your services last?
Generally our church service lasts about 1 hour.

6. Where in the high school do you meet?
(what rooms are used?) Our adults and youth meet together in the gym and our children meet in various locations in the school.

7. Do you take an offering?
The simple answer to this question is “no,” meaning we do not take a collection for donations during our service. We do have boxes at the doors for our members to help us with their financial gifts.

8. Should I bring a Bible?
You may find bringing your own Bible helpful (we generally quote from the NIV) and we encourage you to bring it. We also present most of our Scripture verses on our multi-media screens.

9. How do I get to GCC?
See map below. We meet at Olive Branch High School, Sunday mornings at 9:30 am and 11:00 am.
